Step 1: prepare the minced meat.

Cut the onions into small cubes and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.
Cut the stale bread into strips first, and then cut the strips into halves to make small crackers.

Mix the minced meat with fried onion, egg and 2 tbsp. breadcrumbs (leave a little bit for breadcrumbs before frying). Add mayonnaise, mustard, salt and pepper. Knead the minced meat thoroughly to make it homogeneous.

Step 2: sculpt the cutlets.

Wet cutlets with wet hands, chop the minced meat, and then dip them on one side into crackers so that the pieces of bread stick on top, and then roll the cutlet in breadcrumbs.

Step 3: fry the cutlets breaded with breadcrumbs.

Fry the patties with crackers in preheated vegetable oil until golden brown on both sides.

Step 4: serve the cutlets breaded with breadcrumbs.

Serve the cutlets breaded with crackers hot. Potato and cucumber salad with sour cream are great as a side dish.
Enjoy your meal!
